Fountain Valley Animal Hospital History

Fountain Valley Animal Clinic was established in 1986. Originally a satellite clinic of Cheyenne Mountain Animal Hospital, doctors would rotate through providing outpatient services to their clients. In 2007, the clinic was relocated to the current location on Main Street, and turned into a full-service small animal hospital. The larger building and updated equipment provided the opportunity to expand the types of services offered to clients.

In December of 2011, Dr. Devin and Dr. Rachael Fitzgerald moved from the Chicago area to purchase the clinic, which now had enough business to operate with two full-time doctors. They continue to provide the high quality care that clients have come to expect from Fountain Valley Animal Hospital and its staff.

Today, Fountain Valley Animal Clinic is a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital, which means we have a full array of diagnostic equipment to quickly assess your pet's needs. We provide outpatient treatment and have an extensive pharmacy to get your pet on the road to good health. Fountain Valley's dedicated staff is trained and ready to deal with any minor or major health issues. Although we are equipped to deal with emergencies and complicated medical cases, we emphasize preventative medicine. In 2014, Fountain Valley Animal Hospital became AAHA-accredited, providing an even higher standard of care to our clients.

Dental
Care

dental

Your pet’s health is affected by the condition of their teeth and gums. When tartar builds up, bad breath is just one side effect. Tartar can cause an infection that may attack other major organs such as the heart. To make sure your pet lives a long and healthy life, we recommend you have their teeth cleaned at regular intervals, or whenever their teeth need attention.

From January 15 through March, we are offering 10% off on all dental cleanings. This includes blood work, anesthesia, and dental work. We look forward to seeing your pet to help you keep their teeth sparkling, their breath fresh, and their health the very best possible.
